When naming his classic American novel, Herman Melville was torn between two titles – “Moby Dick; or, The Whale”.  Most people know it by the former, while we went with the latter.

With a prime location in a storied building on Main Street, this bistro, bar and outdoor patio will be open 7 days a week serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.  Headed up by Jamie Lee Nass, Emily Kelly, and Chef Manny Rojas, along with Sandbar owners Nick Nass and George Kelly, or, The Whale is the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining in downtown Nantucket.
